While I can see the direction they're trying to go in, Microsoft have tried way too hard on this one. Instead of coming off as funny, quirky and tongue-in-cheek, they just look desperate. Made me cringe a little.

Good evening. Well built, but why "I am a PC" ?
The word PC being repeated at least 9 times (did not count to be honest), sounds a bit like "Pissy". And to my knowledge, Microsoft sells software (except let's say for their Xbox and some other small hardware). As it is, Microsoft could also say I am "an apple - eat me" ...

i think its a great ad. it takes on Mac without being pathetic and bad mouthing the competition. i do prefer the mac ads though
