Cornetto Algida Teddy Bear


LOLA presents the European campaign for Cornetto Enigma, which will soon be aired in over 15 countries. The agency´s new work, which has as a teddy bear as its protagonist, invites the consumer to show his/her soft side.

For the launch of the new flavours of Cornetto Enigma, one of UL’s most prestige and sophisticated ice creams, LOLA has created a campaign which encourages teenagers to show their soft side, just like the teddy bear which stars in the campaign, whose softness makes him irresistible. This is how the differential element of Cornetto Enigma is communicated, a wafer chocolate ice cream with a delicious caramel heart inside.

“Teddy Bear”, which is the campaign name given to this new work by LOLA, has a 360º communication platform, with TV edits, outdoor, Internet, social networks and mobiles. The commercial was shot in South Africa in February, directed by Marcelo Burgos from Garlic Films. For the Outdoor, the agency has developed two executions showing the Teddy Bear posing next to an attractive model, designed in a similar way as the typical high-fashion and perfume campaigns. The photographer was Mario Sierra, from SunnyDay.

On the internet, the Facebook platform will help to share extra campaign content, showing a funnier and surprising side of the campaign protagonist. In a similar way, mobile applications will also be available involving the Teddy Bear.

LOLA’s new work on Cornetto Enigma is already on air in UK and Turkey and will be on air in the coming months in Israel, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Netherlands, Belgium, Finland and Spain.

The LOLA team responsible for the campaign was headed by Jorge López as the creative director, together with Eduardo Martínez Gil and Max Bostad. The account team was made up by Daniele Cicini, Luciana Midori, Aitziber Izurrategui and Alexandra Armstrong. Marcia Lorente was responsible for the strategic planification and Elena Carrasco and Marie Gillot, agency producers.
