Sporza is the multimedia name for all VRT’s sports programmes. Sporza on television is responsible for the live broadcasts of a number of sporting events. In addition to this, other programmes provide summaries of all sporting highlights to ensure that audiences do not miss out on anything. Radio 1 broadcasts sports programmes on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. On radio, Sporza provides up-to-date information on the football competition, cycling races, tennis, athletics, basketball and volleyball. And, of course, the sports department provides the necessary analyses and opinions.
