    I did not know that Thrifty can double the price told to the customer at the time the customer rents a car. A friend of mine told me not to rent from Thrifty because they are not truthful about their announced price at the time a car is rented. Guess anything goes now days. I’ll remember that when I rent a car the next time. Cheaper is not always cheaper in dollars and cents.
