I like the idea behind this, but not the execution. It would have been better if the toothbrush would have been on lying on its side and not on its back.

yes, you’re right, probably the side would be better, but in this way you shouldn’t see the brush (also important than flexibility) ;-)

if the toothbrush were lying on its side then you would not see the profile of the springy bit in the middle. and of course the springy bit of the brush lining up with the springy bit of the bus is the whole humor of the advertisement. so then the advertisement would be meaningless.
