Hugo Menduiña, from Agosto productions, signs this advert for Mercedes where obsession disguises itself as paranoia.

Using just one day for the shooting, the director has managed to build a true film noir story with a wise use of the codes that define this genre.

Expresionist photography, ellipses full of sense and a tension loaded music serve alltogether to communicate a concept from Contrapunto agency inspired in psychological thrillers.

A black car chasing the protagonist and alarming encounters in a parking create an atmosphere full of distress and paranoia. Only at the end the voice in off from an unknown character allow us to solve the puzzle… and no, this time the butler is not guilty.

A thrilling story with an amazing plot twist… Who’s chasing who?
