Just received this press release; I’ve decided to publish it because it looks quite nice for a Pharma company. This is not a traditional viral campaign, and the website demonstrates it… it could be more effective but it looks that something is missing…

Boulder, Colo. (February 1, 2006) - Pharmaca launches Cubicle Cooties web campaign aimed at helping office workers to make it through the cold and flu season with their health in tact.
According to a recent survey, as many as 80 percent of workers frequently go to work when they are sick*. While most health and human resource experts agree that the best course of action is for sick employees to stay home, looming deadlines and work pressures often make this impossible.
Health experts at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, a pharmacy chain that serves more than 13,000 health-conscious consumers each week, have launched an online campaign, www.cubiclecooties.com, to help office workers make it throught the cold and flu season with their health in tact.
The website, developed by Steve Bullock Design, invites visitors to find out where cooties congregate in the office, and offers tips on what can be done to keep them at bay. By submitting a photo of their own cootie fighting efforts visitors also have chance to win one of five free Cootie Defense Kit (valued at $100 each), full of immune boosting products said to make germs tremble with fear.
